There are more than 150 different breeds of horses in the world. The development of almost all of them has been shaped by humans in some way. In this series, we trace the origin of some of the most iconic breeds, finding out where they come from, how they have developed over the centuries and how their role has evolved in society. From Asia to Europe, North to South America and Africa we travel to 5 different continents, seeking out the various horse breeds to discover more about our much-loved friends.
