On board this submarine is Indian freedom fighter, Subhash Chandra Bose. He was being secretly transported away from the theatre of war to an undisclosed destination in Russia. To the world, Bose had already died in a plane crash 12 days ago.

The submarine is also transporting precious cargo: vast cache of gold secretly collected and processed in Ipoh, Malaya. It went missing. Pieces of this 9-billion-dollar puzzle lie scattered around the world in Tokyo, Ho Chi Minh City, Delhi, London, Kiel and Penang.
