Machli, the legendary tiger queen of Ranthambore, was famous for her fierce determination and extraordinary bravery. It made her the darling of tiger lovers the world over. She lived much longer than a normal tiger does in the wild --- 20 years --- and left a healthy tiger population and a rich legacy behind.

She also left an invaluable lesson: Protect a tiger and it, in turn, will create a forest. Shot over nine dedicated years, the film chronicles Machli's incredible story from young age to her death.
