Filmed over five years, The Hidden Tiger puts together shocking images of how roadside zoos in the American backyard are exploiting majestic tigers, and what role this dreadful trade is playing in extinction of her wild counterpart.
Less than 4000 tigers survive in the wild, but more than 10,000 of them are being kept in roadside zoos in the US. As unwitting fans merrily click their selfies with tiger cubs, the trade in tiger for greed and profit continues.
The film, shot in US, India and Nepal, highlights many threats the tigers face - both in the wild and in the roadside zoos in US.
